Oxford Archers are a well established Archery club based in Oxford. We have a varied membership that encompasses archers of all abilities, shooting mainly Recurve and Compound Bows. The club has facilities for shooting all year round, and during the summer we host a number of Junior and Premier Adult Events.

Congratulations to Nichola!
Congratulations to Nichola for winning the Ladies Compound silver medal at the second World Cup tournament in Porec, Croatia, and team gold medal!

Summer shooting - move outdoors April 12th
We will be moving outdoors to the Oxford Rugby Club on April 12th.
The first ourdoors shooting session will be on April 13th.
Sessions are Wednesdays and Fridays from 6pm, Sundays from 1pm.

Tournament now full!
The Oxford Archers tournament on 2-3 August 2008 is now fully booked.
The entry form for our FITA 70m & H2H / Double 70m on 2-3 August 2008 can be found in the "Forms" section. As the tournament is filling up quickly, preference will be given to archers shooting both days. Archers shooting only one day will currently be added to a waiting list.

Carbon arrows
Despite certain rumors flying about, archers will be able to use all-carbon arrows at our tournament. This is in accordance with FITA rules.

Want to have a go at archery?
In the summer, Oxford Archers offer have-a-gos and archery parties for hen nights, company socials, birthday parties etc. Contact the club secretary for more details!

MEMBERSHIPS
Membership fees are due by the end of September for the 2007-2008 archery year which starts on October 1st.
Adult fee - £ 70.50 (this breaks down to £36 – club / £32 – GNAS / £1.50 – region / £1 - County)
Junior fee - £ 37.50 (£18 / £18 / £1 / £ 0.50)
Club fees have increased, but at £3 per month for an adult and £1.50 / month for a junior are still amongst the lowest around.
