Oxfordshire County Champs - Results
The Oxfordshire County Champs took place on Sunday June 1st at the Oxford Rugby Club. Contratulations to the winners:

The team gold medal went to Oxford Archers (Jenny Collins, Kat Baier, Antje Frotscher, Nat Merry)

Archery Darts - July 5th

Oxford Archers have arranged a fun darts match against the Red Lion pub at Cassington on Saturday 5^th July from 7pm.
The pub team will throw at a regular dart board and the archers will shoot at an archery darts face over 20 yards. Come by and support us!

Wolvercote Festival - Archery Have-A-Go (14th June)
Come to the Wolvercote Festival on June 14th to have a go at archery! We will be at the field from 12am onwards.

The Oxford Archers tournament on 2-3 August 2008 is now fully booked, with a waiting list in place.

Congratulations to Nichola for winning the Ladies Compound silver medal at the second World Cup tournament in Porec, Croatia, and team gold medal!

Summer shooting - move outdoors April 12th
We will be moving outdoors to the Oxford Rugby Club on April 12^th.
The first ourdoors shooting session will be on April 13^th.

Sessions are Wednesdays and Fridays from 6pm, Sundays from 1pm.

Carbon arrows
Despite certain rumors flying about, archers will be able to use all-carbon arrows at our tournament. This is in accordance with FITA rules.

Want to have a go at archery?
In the summer, Oxford Archers offer have-a-gos and archery parties for hen nights, company socials, birthday parties etc. Contact the club secretary for more details!

MEMBERSHIPS
Membership fees are due by the end of September for the 2007-2008 archery year which starts on October 1st.
Adult fee - £ 70.50 (this breaks down to £36 – club / £32 – GNAS / £1.50 – region / £1 - County)
Junior fee - £ 37.50 (£18 / £18 / £1 / £ 0.50)
Club fees have increased, but at £3 per month for an adult and £1.50 / month for a junior are still amongst the lowest around.
